I am Surya Prakash JS — an Electrical & Electronics Engineering graduate and Erasmus Mundus scholar currently pursuing the E-PiCo+ International Master in Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control at Centrale Nantes.
My interests sit between electrical hardware, modelling, control and computation.
My journey began with electrical and electronics engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in circuits, power systems, power electronics, machines, control and semiconductor devices.
Since then, my work has moved across very different scales — from semiconductor and analog IC design to power converters, microgrids, photovoltaic systems and experimental electronic circuits.
Today, I am particularly interested in electric mobility and the systems that make electrification possible: propulsion, power conversion, electrical machines, control and simulation.

Studied parity–time symmetric electronic systems using coupled gain–loss circuits, mathematical models, eigenvalue and stability analysis, SPICE/MATLAB simulations and parameter sweeps.
Developing an India-specific Life Cycle Assessment model for vehicle CO₂ emissions, including energy mix, vehicle characteristics, lifecycle stages and future emission scenarios.
Worked on design automation of a two-stage CMOS operational amplifier in TSMC 0.18 μm technology and a MATLAB-based specification-driven optimisation flow.
Training in semiconductor device modelling, IC design flows and industry-standard EDA tools.
Exposure to induction motor controllers, safety and quality practices in solid-propellant manufacturing and solid rocket booster fabrication.
Summer training in remote sensing, GIS and Python-based geospatial data processing.
I am interested not only in making systems work, but in understanding the principles behind them — and using that understanding to make better engineering decisions.
